REALITY CHECK #22......7/29/2012

" Lately there's been talk about how industry executives have an attitude and disrespectful to artists. Nowadays executives take tremendous pressure from companies about how they are to deal with artists which can be very difficult and stressful. Now if you were a CEO of a company and you see your employees doin what they want and it becomes a huge problem so its time to be no more m
ister nice guy in a sense. I have encountered artists who threaten or bully executives which will cost them their careers in the long run regardless of you apologize to them or not. The executives have the right to refuse anybody under conduct or the state of the project too. I have been around legendary executives who don't give a damn about who artists are and aren't gonna start being nice because they know artists' personality throughout the years. Many artists do develop tremendous egos and arrogance which is unnecessary to a degree. So don't take it personal if an executive has an attitude because they have to be tough in their position. So just stay humble and gracious about an opportunity before you say anything because the job of being an entertainment executive is very hard and very demanding than what you can ever imagine."
